Ghana officially opened its Embassy in Oslo, Norway on 21st November, 2018. The establishment of the Mission aims at further deepening the bilateral relations between Ghana and the Kingdom of Norway. In addition to this, the Embassy has the objective of promoting the interest of Ghana and her citizens in Norway, Finland and Iceland while vigorously undertaking trade and investment promotion activities to attract more investments into Ghana to contribute to the Government’s vision of achieving a “Ghana Beyond Aid”.

The Embassy of Ghana is located at Akersgata 1.

It is headed by H.E. Mrs Jennifer Lartey.

Please be informed that our consular hours are 10am-3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Passport/visa collection hours are 3pm-4pm on weekdays.

Applications by post: Please ensure that your self-addressed, pre-paid envelope comes with valid, regular stamps. Do NOT attach the white “etikettlapp” from the post office, as these will expire the day after purchase and cannot be used to return your documents.
