Ghana’s Ambassador to Norway meets Dean of African Ambassadors in Oslo

H.E. Ali Hafrad, Ambassador of Algeria to Norway and also the current Dean of the African Ambassadors warmly received H.E. Mrs. Jennifer Lartey, Ghana’s Ambassador to Norway, when the latter paid a courtesy call on him in his capacity as the Dean of the African community of Ambassadors.

During the meeting, both Ambassadors identified areas of mutual interest they could collaborate on including development, migration matters, peace and stability in the African region, a step-up in African-European engagement, fight against terrorism amongst others.

Oil and gas are two natural resources Ghana and Algeria have in common and both countries hoped to learn some best practices in the future.

The Algerian Ambassador expressed his delight in having another member join the African group of Ambassadors and assured his counterpart that his doors were always open for any help, advice or collaboration hereafter.
