In two very colorful and memorable ceremonies in Accra and Oslo, H.E. Mrs. Jennifer Lartey received from the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, letters of credence as the first Ambassador and first female to be appointed to represent the country in Norway.
And on 7th March, 2019, Ambassador Mrs. Jennifer Lartey presented her letters of appointment to King Harald V, King of Norway pledging to foster the already existing good relations between both countries.
This is the first time Ghana is opening an Embassy in Norway which is noted for its good management of its oil resource and fish farming.
Ambassador Mrs. Jennifer Lartey and her team will have the special responsibility of sharing some of these best practices with Ghana following its own discovery of oil and gas.
